Steps
Project Inspection
Assess the overall infrastructure requirements including servers, networking equipment, and workstations, locations, technology, and connectivity strength.
Procurement
Looking after the purchasing for all POS machines, replacing all POS devices for all stores
Warehouse fit outs
Installation of all network devices including routers, switches, and access points. Setting up and configuring printers and cable management
Store Fit Outs
Installation of the full network including routers, switches, access points. Installing the POS machines, hardware setup & cable management. Setting up and configuring MacBook’s for all store managers.
Event Pop Ups
Setting up the POS machines with card machines and internet connection for central inventory
Office Fit out in HQ
Moving server, setting up new server room, pulling cables, installing cables and terminations to floor boxes, cable pulling on the floor and termination to floor boxes, setting up set up and deploy of MacBook’s and desktops.
Documentation
Regularly update documentation related to configurations, changes, and troubleshooting procedures. Maintain an inventory of hardware and software assets.
Training and Education
Educate non-IT users regarding new changes like Operation System new updates and Microsoft Applications new features.
